Frequently Asked Questions

Minimize

Do you charge for an in-home estimate?

We do not charge for an in-home estimate and there is no obligation to a consultation by one of our sales representatives.

Does the price include installation?

On our invoices there is a materials total and an installation total; in most cases we ask for the materials portion up front so that we can order the carpet.  We will only ask for the installation portion after your carpet is installed and you are completely satisfied.

Are there guarantees or warranties on the carpeting? On the padding? On the installation?

Yes, all of our products including our padding are under warranties that vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.  All of these are available upon request.  In addition, we guarantee your installation for the life of the carpet.

Can I see a bigger sample than the one that is on the sample board?

Yes, all colors can be ordered in bigger samples no matter which mill the carpet is supplied by.

How will the type of padding I choose affect the life of the carpet?

Padding is one of the most important factors in the life of your carpet.  Padding acts as a shock absorber between your carpet and whatever surface we are installing the carpet over.  This is one area not to cut a corner.

How quickly will my flooring be installed after I place my order?

It depends. If the carpet you order is available than usually we can have it installed comfortably within two weeks. If the carpet needs to be produced, installation could be up to 4-6 weeks away.  We can check stock before you order your carpet to find out if there is a production date on any given piece of carpet.

Should my carpet be installed before or after I paint my home?

Carpet should always be the last phase of your construction process.  This eliminates any damage that may occur to the carpet throughout that process.
